"The Ride Home" is sponsored by Rolling Thunder, Inc., a veterans support group to honor our suriving POW's & MIA's. There were eighty POW's or surviving spouses in attendance. Eleven more had planned to come but were unable to make the trip. An estimated 450 motorcycles and 30 cars made the ride this the 4th year. The first year there were 54 motorcycles and 28 POW's. Post 86 was represented by Bob Sauers, Mike Seager, Linda Seager, and Jeannie Lockwood. AMVETS Post 86, Sons of AMVETS, AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary, and AMVETS Riders made donations to support "The Ride Home"

Rows 1 - 4 (80 people) POW's or surviving spouses. Next 3 rows relatives or spouses of POW's the other were spectators.
Special flag ceremony while the poem "I Am the Flag" was read prior to the flag presentation to the longest held POW.
Hand carved plaque and photo of the POW Memorial Statue and Commemorative Coin given to POW's or surviving spouses.
Life size picture of POW, while Bob Sauers was reading the inscription some one asked if the person looked familiar. It was the POW, himself.
